Contents Search Service of MALIBNET This allows a search on the contents database existing at MALIBNET. It contains nearly 7747 journals.  This database is search able through journal title, year, volume & issue.  Users can start availing MALIBNET services after they become registered users of the MALIBNET. After registration, each user is given an unique Login ID & password.

Document Procurement Service MALIBNET provides full text of articles from requested journals. To avail this service, users expected to provide the details of journals, year, volume & issue along with page numbers.  The charges for this service is Rs.3 per page for members and Rs.5 per page for Non members.  Link to

Internet Services

Internet Service: MALIBNET also provides search on Internet. This service provides Directory list, Patents Abstract Search, Literature/Bibliographic search, Campus Wide information, Library Catalogues, File transfer, Data and Software Archives, Information about Companies, Organisations and Associations, and many more... The cost incurred is calculated in terms of the time spent in accessing the required information on the Internet.

Publications     The following publications  are going to  be released by MALIBNET (Date will be announced latter): Directory of Current Serials in Engineering Sciences Institutions in Madras. Directory of Current Serials in Basic Sciences Institutions in Madras. Directory of Current Serials in Medical Sciences Institutions in Madras. Directory of Current Serials in Social Sciences Institutions in Madras.

Announcement Professional Contributions are Invited.         MALIBNET will be delighted to publish short communications relevant to library and information science.  All are welcome to contribute.  The contributions could include case studies in the libraries and information centers etc. in the form of a type written/computer printout on the single side of the paper but limit to two pages.  The contribution will be reviewed for acceptance and published only if accepted.  Please send your contribution to Manager, MALIBNET.
